The Butte Public Library will continue its First Friday series at noon on Friday with local photographer Jen Murphy. May is Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People Awareness Month, and Murphy is doing a MMIW photo series that includes putting up billboards throughout Montana with the hopes to also place them throughout the United States and into Canada. Throughout May, Murphy’s photographs will be on display at the Carle Gallery, which is in the library.
