Netflix's Love on the Spectrum has been a huge hit among fans, who have been following the love story between Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman

The romance between Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman has been a central draw for Love on the Spectrum enthusiasts, with the couple growing closer since their debut in the first season. As they near their fourth year together, Abbey and David have crafted some of the most heartfelt scenes across the three seasons of the Netflix series. In the show's second installment, audiences were touched as David arranged an African safari for Abbey, allowing her to encounter a lioness up close, a dream come true for her.

The most recent season premiered at the beginning of April on Netflix, culminating in a touching moment where Abbey performed a song she wrote for David, expressing her love. Abbey shared with Netflix's Tudum about her song Boyfriend Forever, "I wrote this song last summer, and I wanted to do a tribute to David, because he is the best boyfriend, and I never want to lose him." She added: "My favourite part of the song is [when] I say at the beginning, 'You're the lion to my lioness, the milk to my Chardonnay,' because he drinks milk and I like wine and we both love lions.

" Love on the Spectrum also delves into the familial bonds of its cast, and while Abbey's mother, Christine Romeo, has appeared on the show, viewers have only just begun to uncover her past as an actor and producer involved in notable projects. Christine has an impressive list of TV credits to her name, including a role in the pilot episode of The O. C.

, appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and playing Susan Khouri in the fourth season of Star Trek: Enterprise. She even had a part as Fran in the '90s horror flick Legion of Fire: Killer Ants!, where she acted alongside Abbey's father, Eric Lutes. Netflix fans are hoping for an appearance from Abbey's father Eric's debut on the reality show, although his face may already be familiar to many.

Eric, who shared the screen with Christine in the Killer Ants! movie, is perhaps more widely recognized for his roles as Del Cassidy in the '90s favorite Caroline in the City and as Jake Carlson in Nickelodeon's So Little Time, featuring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. "Whoa! Abby's father was the guy in Caroline in the City AND the Olsen Twins' fathers in Switching Goals and So Little Time. I loved all of those in the 90s/00s," a fan gushed after discovering the celebrity connection in Abbey's family.

"I thought Abbey's mom looks familiar from somewhere. She has a lot of acting credits," said another viewer. Christine and Eric were married in 1990 and had two children, Abbey and Ben.

The couple went their separate ways in 2006..
