LRT Line 1 being shut down Sunday at 8 p.m. for Stage 2 work

Ottawa LRT Line 1 service will end early — at 8 p.m. — on Sunday, May 11 so planned Stage 2 work can be done.

Regular night bus service routes will operate on a regular schedule after 11 p.m. and Line 1 service will resume at its regular 5 a.

m. start time on Monday, May 12, the memo stated. “This temporary closure is required for Stage 2 systems integration, in preparation for Line 1 service to be extended from Blair to Trim Station as part of the O-Train East extension,” the memo read.
