Lucas Elder has 3 RBIs, Red Land comes back to beat Gettysburg in 9 innings

Lucas Elder singled to drive in the go-ahead run, and Red Land came back to beat Gettysburg 10-9 in nine innings on Thursday. Gettysburg led 6-0 after scoring two runs in each of the first three innings. Even after Red Land got on the board with a run in the fourth inning, the Warriors led 6-1 entering the sixth inning.

Charlie Shull, pitching in relief for Zach Williams, walked two runs in and gave up another on a Bradley Minter single. Red Land took a commanding 9-6 lead in the top of the seventh inning. Tanner Hallman singled to drive in two runs in the inning.



Gettysburg wasn’t done and forced extra innings after scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Curtis Rebert singled to drive in the tying run. Elder’s single completed the comeback for Red Land.
