Man, 39, dies after shooting in the Bronx

A man was fatally shot Wednesday in the Bronx, and police are looking for a man dressed in a light-brown hoodie, authorities said. Police were alerted to an assault around 3:46 p.m near Tilloston Ave.

and Thomas E. Brown Ave. in Baychester, and found a 39-year-old man shot in the chest.



EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where died, police said. There were no immediate arrests, as cops began a search for a man described as wearing a light-brown hoodie. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
