A man has been arrested after "numerous reports" of burglaries and attempted thefts. Police arrested the 48-year-old yesterday, April 20, after the reports of "shed burglaries" and "attempted thefts" across Highfield and New Bury in Farnworth in the early hours of yesterday morning. Officers located him following "extensive enquiries" and he was arrested.
As of yesterday, he remained in custody for questioning. A spokesperson for GMP Bolton said: "Between 4am and 8am on Sunday, April 20, there were numerous reports of shed burglaries and attempted thefts across the Highfield and New Bury areas of Farnworth.
