Man has car seized after being caught 'driving without insurance'

A man has had his vehicle seized in Inverclyde after allegedly driving without insurance.

A man has had his vehicle seized in Inverclyde after allegedly driving without insurance. Officers from Inverclyde's Local Policing Team were on patrol in the community yesterday evening when they stopped the vehicle. The vehicle was found to be uninsured and was seized.

A statement on Facebook read: "Last night, as part of a Road Traffic initiative, officers from Inverclyde's Local Policing Team were on patrol in the community, focusing on road safety and vehicle crime, when they stopped and seized a motor vehicle for not being insured. "A male, age 26 was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for multiple Road Traffic Offences.
