Man in UP gets life in jail for burning pregnant wife over dowry in 2015

In 2015, Pramod Kumar of Bulandshahr was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment by a fast-track court for burning his four-month-pregnant wife, Jaya Devi, to death over dowry demands. Jaya, who was 32 years old, succumbed to her injuries at a Delhi hospital after suffering 85% burns.
