3MILLION followers a glimpse at his childhood. The England international posted a picture of himself playing football as a kid alongside the caption, "20! Blessed". Bizarrely, Mainoo was donning a retro Tottenham third shirt from the 1996-97 campaign - an unusual choice for someone born in 2005 in Manchester.
The shirt, worn by the likes of Sol Campbell and Teddy Sheringham, sparked confusion and outrage from United supporters online.
