54am informing them that an attack had taken place in front of a restaurant."Initial investigations revealed that the victim and several friends were about to leave for home after eating at the restaurant when a white-coloured Toyota Vios pulled up."Five men, all believed to be Malaysians, alighted from the vehicle and proceeded to slash the victim using parang and swords, before fleeing in the same vehicle," he said in a statement.



Wan Azlan said the victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.He said the case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means, which carries a prison term of up to 20 years and a fine or whipping upon conviction."Anyone who has any information on the case should contact the Subang Jaya police operations centre at 03-78627222 or Inspector Fadizah Ajamain at 019-8582166," he said.
