Marcos vows concrete measures to address workers' needs in his Labor Day message.

As the country commemorates Labor Day, President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Thursday vowed to provide concrete measures to address the needs of workers and their families.

(It is only fitting that we take this celebration as an opportunity to develop concrete steps to meet the needs of every family, ensure safety in the workplace, and protect the right to a bright future.) (The policies we implement must reflect the conviction that the true wealth of a nation is not measured by income but by the dignity of the hardworking person.

) Marcos ensured that his administration would be a partner in crafting ''Bagong Pilipinas.'' He also acknowledged that workers have a significant contribution in the country's progress.

(We sincerely affirm that you will not be abandoned but rather will be further supported—not just as a duty but as gratitude and recognition of your true value and sacrifice.) —VAL, GMA Integrated News.
