Mardaani 3 Release: Rani Mukerji is all set to reprise the role of fiery cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in the upcoming third instalment of the popular franchise Mardaani. Since its announcement by Yash Raj Films, the movie has created anticipation among movie buffs for what is in store for them after the success of Mardaani and Mardaani 2. Levelling up the excitement, makers now have announced the release date of the movie.
Mardaani 3 Release Date As announced Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 3 will hit the theatres on February 27, 2026. YRF shared the first look of Rani from the movie along with release announcement on Instagram. The post read, "The countdown begins for #Mardaani3! I’m proud to essay the character of this feisty cop again in Mardaani 3 as a tribute to all the unsung, brave, self-sacrificing cops who work tirelessly every single day to keep us safe.” All About Mardaani 3 The upcoming hard-hitting female cop movie is being helmed by Abhiraj Minawala, who is currently working as associate director of War 2 and previously also has worked in movies like Sultan and Tiger 3. THe script of the Mardaani 3 is penned by Aayush Gupta.
Mardaani has carved out a distinct legacy for itself being a only female-cop led franchise in the Indian cienama. The orginal movie Mardaani made its debut in theatres in 2014. Following its success, makers came up with its sequel in 2019.
Almost after seven years, Mardaani 3 is coming to big screens in 2026.
