Martinelli’s recalls 7,000 cases of apple juice in 28 states

Martinelli’s is recalling more than 7,000 cases of apple juice. The Watsonville, California-based company said the impacted product was sold in 10-ounce glass bottles with a white metal screw lid on top. The juice may be contaminated with patulin, the FDA said. Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by mold from rotting apples and could cause nausea and vomiting, according to the World Health Organization.
