Go Search Go Search Masi fronts court for assaulting de-facto partner April 22, 2025 11:48 am Flying Fijians and Fijian Drua Centre Iosefo Masi fronted the Magistrates Court in Nadi on Saturday in a special sitting for assaulting his de-facto partner. He appeared before Magistrate Semi Babitu, charged with one count of assault. Masi was granted bail on the condition of one surety, a $500 non-cash bail bond and a domestic violence restraining order.

He will reappear in court on 25 May for plea. Meanwhile, Flying Fijians and Drua halfback Peni Matawalu is also facing assault charges. Matawalu is alleged to have assaulted his wife which resulted in her hospitalization.
