'Mass casualty event' feared in Tennessee tornado emergency after one dead in severe storm

Tornadoes were reported on Tuesday in parts of Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

Strong storms are sweeping the central and eastern United States Wednesday, after one person was reported dead in Tennessee and another in North Carolina when trees toppled onto their vehicles. Tornado watchers fear a "mass casualty event". One such individual wrote on X: "Sounds like a mass casualty event from the tornado emergency that’s went through Tennessee.
