Cunha has been one of the breakout stars of the season with 14 goals and four assists in the Premier League despite Wolves ' largely poor form throughout the current campaign. Moreover, his form has been a key reason for Wolves' resurgence in the top-flight under Vitor Pereira. As such, the big clubs have been circling around for much of the season, with Arsenal and Tottenham also linked in January, before Cunha penned a new deal that seemed to put off any suitors.
Yet United remained interested and are now poised to make him their first signing of the summer for £62.5million. Reports in Brazil have claimed that the talks between the parties have now entered the final stages after making 'significant' progress, according to Globo .

Owing to PSR, finances are at a premium for Amorim, and further recruitment plans will hinge on both sales and whether they can qualify for Europe.
They have also held discussions over Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Red Bull Leipzig's Xavi Simons and Benjamin Sesko, Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace and Antoine Semenyo at Bournemouth as they draw up lists for all scenarios. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho could all be sold this summer but realising their optimum value will not be so easy.
