MCDONALD’S customers have blasted the burger giant after claiming they were left waiting more than 20 minutes at drive-thrus — even when they’d ordered ahead on the app.Social media has been sizzling with complaints as hungry diners vent about the chain’s sluggish service.GettyFurious diners are fuming over long McDonald’s waits even after ordering ahead[/caption]GettySome have been waiting for as long as 20 minutes for their fast food meal[/caption]One customer, Robert (@rpacktor), wrote on X: “More than a dozen cars parked waiting on food at the drive through.

“Over twenty minutes so far and still half a dozen cars in front of me.”The fast-food icon quickly responded, saying: “We know time is of the essence, Robert. “Please share your contact info, email address, and restaurant address via DM, so we can look into it.

”Another user, GStatPro, piled on, complaining: “I will never understand the point of ordering ahead on an app or using your drive thru and still have to park at @McDonalds for another 20 minutes.”McDonald’s repeated its familiar line, replying: “We know time is of the essence. “Share with us your contact info, app email address and restaurant address via DM so we can see what’s up.

”It’s unclear which McDonald’s locations the complaints were aimed at, but the frustration was loud and clear.According to McDonald’s official website, they don’t specify an exact target time for drive-thru orders. But speed is a key selling point of the golden arches experience — and clearly, many diners feel it’s not being delivered.

The drive-thru drama comes hot on the heels of a fresh wave of fury from customers who say they were left out of pocket after cancelled orders — with no refunds issued, even after a year.In one fiery exchange, a furious diner responded to a McDonald’s promo tweet that read “Want anything from McDonald’s?” by fuming: “Nope you guys are thieves! I had 2 app orders cancelled by your employees and NEVER received my refund BOTH TIMES!! “I keep getting ignored it’s been over a year!”The raging customer even threatened legal action, adding: “Time for a lawyer I guess.”Their post racked up over 5,000 views, with McDonald’s once again scrambling to offer help.

The chain told the user: “This shouldn’t have happened. Share your contact info, app email address and snapshot of your order receipt via DM so we can look into this.”But the customer shot back: “It’s already been over a year! How am I supposed to find that info??!!!!”Fast Food meal dealsHere are some of the current value meals offered by popular fast food joints.
