A member of Korean group Just B revealed that he is gay, becoming the first male K-pop idol to come out. Member Bain, 23, made the announcement during Just B’s world tour “Just Odd” in Los Angeles on April 22. “I want to share something real with you.
I’m proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community — as a gay person,” Bain posted on Instagram. He added, “And my queen Lady Gaga showed me that being different is beautiful. To anyone out there who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community, or still figuring it out — this is for you.

Bluedot Entertainment has not issued any statement regarding Bain’s announcement. Previously, former K-pop girl group Wassup member Jiae revealed she was bisexual while girl group Katseye’s Lara said she was queer.
