The temperature will see the highs of 11C to 14C before dropping to the lows of 4C to 8C tonight.Tonight will see further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mainly to the western half of the country, which will eventually push northeastwards throughout the night.A forecaster said: “Tomorrow, Easter Monday will begin damp and drizzly, locally wet across the north and northeast, but sunny spells will develop widely.
”Tomorrow will be a much brighter day, with some scattered heavy showers and the odd rumble of thunder.Temperatures will range from 11C to 14C with moderate to fresh, westerly wind.Met Éireann said a mixed bag is on the cards for next week, but there will be some mild sunshine.
She added: “The outlook is for a mixed and rather unsettled picture into the new week, but there will also be some mild sunshine at times.” Tuesday will start with sunny spells developing for the country’s eastern half, while outbreaks of rain and drizzle will soon extend across the country by the afternoon.The rain and drizzle will persist across most areas for the rest of the day, with some heavy showers across southern and western counties.
Parts of the northeast could escape the showers for the day, with dry spells on the cards.Temperatures will once again range from 11C to 14C.Wednesday is expected to be a brighter day with sunny spells but scattered showers may develop in some parts of the country.
The temps will reach the highs of 13C to 17C.She said: “Thursday will be one of the better days this week.”“Overall dry with sunny spells, and well scattered showers.
