Nature cannot decide if it desires for Michiganders to sweat or shiver. The cool, wet, and breezy weather will continue Sunday night due to a slow-moving low-pressure system. Under cloudy skies, rain showers will be possible into the overnight hours.
Temperatures will be nearly steady with lows in the mid-40s to near 50 degrees. Northeasterly winds will be 7 to 14 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Cinco de Mayo Monday, which is Cinco de Mayo, will be mostly cloudy with the chance of a few rain showers.
The better chance of rain will be in the afternoon and evening. A thunderstorm or two will also be possible. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the mid-60s.
Winds will mostly be out of the east at 5 to 10 mph. The shower chance will last through Monday night. Lows will be in the upper-40s to lower-50 degrees.
Tuesday Tuesday will also be rainy. Temperatures will peak in the mid-60s. It will be partly cloudy on Tuesday night.
Lows will be around 50 degrees. Wednesday Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds on Wednesday. While the majority of Southeast Michigan will remain dry, a stray shower will be possible.
Highs will return to the lower-70s. Lows will be in the upper-40s, under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Late Week Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny to end the week.
Highs will be in the lower-60s on Thursday, upper-60s to 70 degrees on Friday, and lower- to mid-70s on Saturday. Mother’s Day Next Sunday, which is Mother’s Day, will bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s. Conditions will be ideal for celebrating.
