GaadiWaadi -MG Majestor will go on sale next month in India and it will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner Legender; will get distinctive styling cues compared to the GlosterAt the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, MG Motor grabbed attention by unveiling three production-ready models aimed squarely at the Indian market. One of the highlights was the Majestor which has been caught testing multiple times on public roads recently. It is part of MG’s launch plans for this year alongside the Cyberster and M9.
The MG Majestor is steadily moving toward its official launch, expected to take place sometime next month. Based on the Maxus D90’s architecture — a platform already in use in international markets — the Majestor will find its place above the Gloster in MG’s domestic lineup and it will help expand the brand’s SUV portfolio.To be offered as a more premium alternative to the Gloster, the MG Majestor is not intended to replace it but will instead share space within the brand’s lineup.
Distinct styling tweaks help the Majestor carve out its own identity, featuring a more aggressive blacked-out grille, sharper LED daytime running lights, vertically arranged LED projector headlamps and a reworked tail-lamp setup.Also Read: Soon-Launching MG M9 Electric MPV For India – New Details OutFurther cosmetic updates on the MG Majestor include new skid plates at the front and rear, a set of twin-spoke alloy wheels, Majestor lettering on the tailgate and a dual exhaust arrangement. Under the hood, the Majestor will continue to use the familiar 2.
0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine from the Gloster, delivering 213 bhp and 478 Nm of torque.Among the expected features are a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, iSmart connected features, powered front seats offering ventilation and massage functions, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 ADAS capabilities, etc.

Once launched, it will go up against rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner Legender, recently launched Volkswagen Taigun R-Line and second-gen Skoda Kodiaq among others.
