Qatar tribune Tribune News Network Doha The Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Labour (MoL) recently organised a Padel Challenge competition, bringing together four teams of ministry employees in a spirited event aimed at fostering social interaction and team spirit. Held at the Padel 1969 Centre at Al-Sadd Club, the competition saw enthusiastic participation in an atmosphere of camaraderie and positivity. The Al-Thumama team emerged victorious, securing the gold medal after defeating the Al-Dafna team in the final match.
The runners-up were awarded silver medals in recognition of their strong performance. This event forms part of the MoL’s wider strategy to promote a culture of physical activity, support employee wellness, and cultivate a balanced and healthy work environment. It also reflects the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening interpersonal relationships among staff and encouraging participation in regular sports and wellness initiatives.
The Public Relations and Communication Department reaffirmed its dedication to organising similar sports and social activities in the future. These initiatives aim to enhance team spirit and contribute to a healthy and motivating workplace culture. The MoL reiterated that such sporting events not only improve employee engagement and morale but also align with the goals of the Third National Development Strategy and the objectives of the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce.
