Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision caused by fallen branch

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a branch fell from a tree.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a branch fell from a tree. Emergency services were called to reports of a collision at Barns Court in Turners Hill Road, Crawley Down, around 10.50am yesterday (April 18).

A 27-year-old woman, who had been riding a motorbike, was injured after a branch fell from a tree. The branch had hit her and her bike, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.



Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.
