After launching two sub-Rs 25,000 smartphones under the Motorola Edge 60 series, the brand is now gearing up to launch the Pro variant. Motorola has officially announced the launch date of the Edge 60 Pro. It will be launched in India on April 30 and will be sold on Flipkart.



Apart from announcing the launch date, the brand has also officially revealed all the specifications of the smartphone. According to its on-paper specifications, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro will have significant upgrades on the camera front. One thing that Motorola is still tight-lipped about is the pricing.

5K pOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. For performance, the smartphone is packed with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme, which is paired with the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. The smartphone will come in 8GB and 12GB RAM, coupled with 256GB storage.

Furthermore, a 6000mAh battery powers the Edge 60 Pro, and it supports 90-watt of fast charging and 15 watts of wireless charging as well. For photography, you get a triple camera setup on this smartphone, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front as well, you get a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.

Additional specifications include the usual USB-C port, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an IP68 + IP69 rating against dust and water. The Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus performed well in our tests and felt decent. Now, let’s see if the Edge 60 Pro can earn a good rating from us or if it’s just hype.
