Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Indian actress Mouni Roy was recently subjected to online trolling after revealing a new hairstyle with bangs. Several people on social media claimed that this new hairstyle was an attempt to hide some alleged surgery and ridiculed her using her AI-augmented face in satirical videos. In her interview with Zoom, Mouni addressed the backlash stating that she “pities” those spreading hate.

The actress labeled the online abuse, “cringe” and “disgusting,” while also denouncing AI “face-morphing” videos that alter her image. "You’re Collecting Curses, Not Clout," Says Mouni The Indian actress further added that it’s borderline tragic how fast the culture of cyberbullying is spreading. “What do they want to achieve with it? What is the aim? Because all you are collecting are people’s curses and bad wishes,” she argued.

"Nobody can wish well for someone who’s doing that.” Mouni explained that earlier in her career she would scroll through profiles of her trolls and block them. Now, she argues that those spreading hate are the ones losing in the end.

The Film Appearance that Triggered Cosmetic Surgery Speculations The excitement around her appearance reached new heights after people noticed her new bangs hairstyle during the Bhootnii trailer launch. Many social media handles began posting AI-modified videos of Mouni with her brows dramatically lifted and her cheeks heavily sculpted which led many to speculate about her undergoing cosmetic surgeries. Mouni Roy’s Next Film: The Bhootnii As per her professional commitments, Mouni Roy will soon be seen in The Bhootnii, slated for an afternoon release on May 1.
