A self-produced track by a Brighton-based artist has been featured on Netflix and the BBC. Will Hanco, originally from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, created the song in his bedroom. The track has been used on Love Is Blind (Sweden), BBC One's The One Show, and BBC iPlayer's Charlotte in Sunderland.

The independent artist moved to Brighton after a solo busking tour from Scotland to the south coast. The track has been used on Love Is Blind (Image: Supplied) Mr Hanco said: "I was busking my way through the country, just me, my guitar and a rucksack. "When I hit Brighton, something clicked.

"The vibe here, the people - it felt alive with possibility. "I knew I had to stay." After settling in Brighton, Mr Hanco enrolled at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) and began performing regularly around the city.

The ethereal indie-folk sound reflects his ability to fuse emotional storytelling with cinematic production, all from a track created in his Brighton bedroom. Having started out busking on the streets of York and Harrogate, Mr Hanco's journey from street performer to TV sync success is a testament to perseverance, authenticity, and the power of Brighton’s creative community.
