Nana B has refuted reports of tensions between him and Kennedy Agyapong The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has refuted claims of tensions between him and the party’s former flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong. Addressing a viral video of him and Kennedy Agyapong, which has sparked speculations of tensions between the two, Nana B, during an interview on UTV on Monday, April 28, 2025, said the video has been misrepresented and taken out of context. “What honourable was telling me was that the way the program was being handled, we should keep things short because the weather was not looking good, and we had to go to Bogoso as well.

Having suffered a massive defeat in the 2024 general elections, the NPP, led by its flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other party leaders, is on a Thank You Tour as part of the party’s rebuilding and reorganising processes. However, some reports have claimed deep acrimony on the tour between Kennedy Agyapong and Dr Bawumia’s camp. Reacting to the reports, Nana B stated that such claims are fabrications thriving on sensationalism.
