Prayagraj: A 10-day summer camp will be organised by the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), here in Sangam city, where more than 200 students from six different states will get hands-on experience in testing scientific theories beyond the confines of textbooks. The camp is scheduled to begin on June 5 and aims to spark scientific curiosity and understanding among school students. Participants from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand, specifically students from classes 9 to 11, will be part of this engaging initiative.

NASI has invited schools from these states to send two students each from mathematics and science backgrounds to take part in the camp. The camp promises to be an enriching educational experience, with NASI covering all expenses related to accommodation, food, and travel for the students and their teachers. According to NASI's executive secretary, Santosh Shukla, this initiative is a step toward nurturing a scientific temper in the youth and promoting rational thinking.
