The Cleveland Browns have used their second pick in the 2025 NFL draft to select linebacker Carson Schwesinger out of UCLA with the No. 33 pick.Schwesinger was largely considered the LB2 of this class behind Jihaad Campell, who was selected with the No.
31 pick in the draft last night. He is a physical linebacker who is also extremely smart in coverage. He is the total package and has the makings of a Day 1 starter for the Browns.
Not to mention, he is an A+ athlete in a 6-foot-2 and 242-pound frame.He was the No. 44 player on the industry consensus big board, so the value is just about right as well.
He's explosive, a hard hitter, and will do the dirty work. This is an awesome pick for the Browns as they look to build a gritty, physical football team.What this means for the future of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, however, is not looking promising.
