NI man spearheading drive to change local gyms... before taking on his second marathon

Derry council introduced specialist training for gym staff following intervention from Mencap campaign assistant Eoin Kenny outside Foyle Arena A Derry man with a learning disability is using his experience preparing for a marathon relay to help his local gym be more inclusive. Eoin Kenny (34) enjoyed training for last year’s Belfast marathon so much that he decided to do the Waterside Marathon this September. The campaign assistant for Mencap has been upping his fitness weekly.
