Angert will graduate this year from Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland.In January, 5-10 setter Nerea Álvarez Jorge joined UNC as a transfer from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.
Álvarez Jorge is originally from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. She was a two-time first team All American by the National Junior College Athletic Association and the American Volleyball Coaches Association.UNC signed attackers Shelby Schoenbeck and Leila Ballard out of high school programs last fall.
