We are talking about SS Rajamouli – the maverick director of Baahubali series and RRR. He is apparently commanding Rs 200 crore per film as a director as per reports in Hindustan Times. This makes him the highest-paid filmmaker in India.
As per reports, he has delivered two Rs 1,000 crore plus movies including Baahubali series and RRR. His films do exceptionally well in Japan. As per reports, SS Rajamouli’s fee is higher than many other star directors.
Talking about Sandeep Reddy Vanga, after the success of Kabir Singh and Animal, he is getting Rs 90 crores per film. Rajkumar Hirani reportedly gets Rs 80 crores and has been giving superhit films. He has a constant record of delivering superhit films in the industry.
But, SS Rajamouli tops the list. Prashanth Neel who made KGF and Salaar is also getting that much amount. His films smashed records at the box office.
Several actors like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Thalapathy Vijay follow the profit-sharing model. On the work front, SS Rajamouli is busy with SSMB 29 and the film stars Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra in main roles. Priyanka, who is an international global icon will make her comeback after The Sky Is Pink.
