Now Billy MacFarland Is Selling Fyre Festival

Their sandwich recipes aren’t part of the deal, unfortunately.

The second Fyre Fest’s planned start date of May 30 is looking less and less likely. Around a week after the FYRE 2 Festival website announced the event was delayed (then deleted the post), Billy MacFarland says he’s cashing out of the fest biz entirely. In a statement on Instagram, MacFarland said he and his partners were selling the whole shebang to “the right buyer.

” The deal would include The brand’s IP, trademarks, digital assets, and cultural capital. But not their sandwich recipe book? What about their water distro guy , is he part of the deal? “Execute the vision,” MacFarland urged buyers online. “Make history 🔥” Fyre Festival 2 ran into a snag earlier this month when the city of Playa Del Carmen denied reports that they were willing and able to host.

MacFarland then said the festival was looking for a new venue, and that dates would be dependent on location. Then it was announced that he’d sold some of the IP rights to Shawn Rech, who was looking to turn FYRE into a m usic streaming service . Now FYRE can be whatever you want it to be, should you cough up the dough.
