The agency released unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes this week, enabling eligible personnel to register ahead of their deployment.Prospective service members can retrieve their PIN codes through the NSA’s official portal by entering their student identification numbers and dates of birth, the Authority confirmed in a Thursday announcement. Registration requires a nominal fee of GH¢40 payable at ADB Bank branches or GH¢41 via MTN Mobile Money, with the window closing on April 23, 2025.



Officials urged applicants to complete the process promptly to secure placements in this year’s service roster.The directive aligns with Ghana’s National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), which mandates national service for citizens aged 18 and above who graduate from accredited tertiary institutions, including nursing colleges. NSA Director-General Felix Gyamfi emphasized the agency’s dedication to streamlining registrations, stating, “We are committed to ensuring an efficient process for all participants.

”Established in 1973, Ghana’s National Service Scheme has deployed over one million graduates into critical sectors such as education, healthcare, and agriculture, reinforcing its role in bridging workforce gaps while fostering civic engagement among youth.
