Today's NYT Strands hints and answers Looking for Wednesday’s Strands hints, spangram and answers? You can find them here: Happy May Day, Strandistas! April is over. It came and went in the blink of an eye. Now May is here and we have just a few more weeks before summer.

Time to get outside, folks. But not before we uncover some words in today’s Strands grid! Strands is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games.

Every day we’re given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day’s theme. Spoilers ahead.

Here are some hints to help you solve today’s grid. Today’s Theme: I get around. FEATURED | Frase By Forbes TM Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Hint : Non-motorized vehicles.

Clue: You might do tricks on these. Here are the first two letters of each word: SK SC RO BI WA WH Remember, spoilers ahead! Today’s spangram is: WHEELIE Here’s the full list of words: SKATEBOARD SCOOTER ROLLERBLADES BICYCLE WAGON Here’s the completed Strands grid: Today's Strands I found WAGON pretty quickly and then I saw WHEEL and tried that, but it didn’t work, which made me assume that A) this was part of the spangram and B) all the rest of the words would involve wheels. I was right on both counts.

But it still took me a bit to get WHEELIE. And that’s an odd choice for the spangram, quite frankly, because it implies you can do a wheelie with the various words. But really, I don’t think anyone does wheelies with wagons.

That’s more of a BICYCLE action. I suppose WHEELIE here just means “things with wheels” rather than the trick itself. You can do tricks with all of these, but I haven’t heard of anyone doing WAGON tricks.
