OESJ softball picks up first win of season, tops Fort Plain

FORT PLAIN — Prior to Thursday, OESJ softball centerfielder Taylor Hayes had never hit a ball over the fence. Not when she was little, not in practice and not on any of her school softball teams. The senior changed all of that in the top of the seventh inning on Thursday in a game against crosstown rival Fort Plain.
