'Oh My God!' University Students Startled by Explosion During Storm

A group of University of Alabama students rushed inside after an explosion during a storm in Tuscaloosa on Monday, April 21. Makenna Wynia told Storyful she and her friends were at an Olive Garden when the explosion occurred. She said her video showed lightning striking a power line, which sparked and then exploded, causing a power outage at the restaurant and nearby buildings.
