Prayagraj: A 20-year-old youth died and two others sustained serious injuries when their bike fell off the Bhirpur ROB under the limits of Karchhana police station late on Sunday night. The deceased, identified as Shubham Singh, was a resident of Chandupur (Industrial Area). Two of the injured persons were admitted to a hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the incident took place when a group of three persons was going to attend a marriage function from Haujkatorwa to Bastar village on a bike. The uncontrolled bike jumped off the Bhirpur ROB, resulting in the death of a youth on the spot. Police said that all three persons, along with the bike, fell off the ROB.
The body was sent for post-mortem. The condition of the two injured persons was stated to be critical. tnn.
