Elections don’t just happen on Tuesdays in November. In fact, there happens to be one right around the corner. Tuesday marked the final day of the early voting period for the May 3 uniform election, which includes one New Braunfels City Council race and two Comal ISD trustee positions.
In the City Council District 1 race, incumbent Andres Campos is taking on challengers Toni Carter and George Green. Comal ISD’s District 6 position is a battle between incumbent Amanda Jones and challenger Giovianne Washington, while its District 7 seat will feature incumbent David Krawczynski against challenger Orlando Dona Jr. To view a sample ballot for Comal County, go online to: www.

On Election Day, those in the Guadalupe County portion of New Braunfels can vote at Redemptive Grace Ministries, located at 2240 FM 725 in New Braunfels. Comal County has five Election Day voting locations: — Mammen Family Public Library, Meeting Room A, 131 Bulverde Crossing in Bulverde. — Comal County Bulverde Annex, 30470 Cougar Bend in Bulverde.
— Garden Ridge City Hall, 9500 Municipal Parkway in Garden Ridge. — Westside Community Center, 2932 South IH-35 in New Braunfels. — Comal County Goodwin Annex, 1297 Church Hill Drive in New Braunfels.
All of the above locations are set to be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.
m. on May 3. Kirkwood Manor was initially slated to serve as a Comal County polling location but has withdrawn.
