ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Air Force has begun Exercise Zarb-e-Haideri, a three-day high-intensity air warfare drill under the Southern Air Command.

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Air Force has begun Exercise Zarb-e-Haideri, a three-day high-intensity air warfare drill under the Southern Air Command. The exercise will focus on full multi-domain operations with advanced command and control systems. Different fighter aircraft including JF-17 Thunder and F-16 are participating in the exercise.

The purpose of the exercise is to make the Pakistan Air Force professionally prepared and give a befitting response to India in case of any Pakistan airspace violation. The Pakistan Air Force in the wake of the evolving regional security situation has activated the Saidu Sharif Airport in Swat as its operational airbase. Pakistan Air Force also operationalised the Skardu airport.



Skardu is a strategic location in Gilgit Baltistan from where multiple logistic support is provided to Pakistani forces deployment at forward locations in Siachin. Pakistan Air Force has activated its all airbases across Pakistan and put its all fighter jets in action.

Heavy loads of air ammunition including bombs, bullets, and rockets have been made ready with figher jets for giving a befitting response to India in case of Pakistan airspace violation. Tags: paf starts intensity.
