Pahalgam Terror Attack: Model Ekta Tiwari makes shocking claims; says terrorists ‘insisted on taking us to...’

Model Ekta Tiwari from Jaunpur recently claimed that she crossed paths with two terrorists during her trip to Pahalgam. She revealed that they misbehaved with her group.

The Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22 killed 26 killed tourists and left many injured. The heinous incident wherein innocent tourists were targeted has left everyone in a state of shock. Several videos and pictures from the incident have gone viral on social media.

Statements made by many of victims' family members detailing the incident have also caught attention. Amid this, a model named Ekta Tiwari, who was in Pahalgam a day before the incident has also shared her story and made some shocking revelations. As reported by News 18, Ekta Tiwari revealed that she and her group left Pahalgam on April 21.



She mentioned that when she saw the sketches of the terrorists, she realised that she had a close brush with death. She narrated that she had done a booking through a local mule handler and was surprised to see when two unknown men came along. The model added that the mule handlers asked her about Ajmer and also questioned her about Amarnath Yatra.

She said, "Then they began questioning me about Amarnath Yatra how many people had come, what our religion was, etc. I was scared and didn't reveal the truth. They also asked personal questions about my husband and marriage.

" Ekta Tiwari further narrated how the mule handlers insisted her group to travel to Baisaran valley. However, her group did not go to Baisaran which left them irked. She also claimed that she recognises one of the terrorists through sketches.

She was quoted saying, "They insisted on taking us to Baisaran Valley, but we didn't go. They were angry and misbehaved with us. We even have videos of the incident.

More than half of our group returned early. Out of the sketches released, I recognise one of the terrorists." Ekta also mentioned that offensive comments were made about her faith.

The model revealed that her trip began on April 13 with a visit to Vaishno Devi. Her group then visited several places including Sonmarg and Srinagar before reaching Pahalgam on April 20..
