NATIONAL Capital District Governor Powes Parkop is currently attending the 81st UN ESCAP Session in Bangkok, Thailand. At the invitation of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), this conference is a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration, and learning, reinforcing the importance of regional and global partnerships for sustainable urban development in Asia and the Pacific. Accountability, adherence to standards, and exposure to innovation and solutions are the top three key lessons of this conference amongst other important points of which Mr Parkop is representing the nation’s capital in discussions.
