Vadodara: A 20-year-old youth was found murdered and his body partially burnt in Sandhasal village of Desar taluka of Vadodara district. The youth, identified as Jaimin Gohil , had been missing from his residence since Friday night. Jaimin, who worked at a company in Samlaya, had spent Friday evening at home with his family.

Later that night, he and his elder brother, Jaydeepsinh Gohil, went out to meet friends at a shop nearby. While Jaydeepsinh returned home after a call from their father, Kiransinh, Jaimin told his family that he was headed towards the Sandhasal market and would be helping in the kitchen preparations for a wedding. The family assumed he had gone to help with preparations for a wedding scheduled in a nearby area.

When Jaimin did not return home by morning, the family grew concerned. Jaydeepsinh received a call from a villager, asking him to come to a crossroads near Sandhasal. Upon reaching, he was informed that a body had been found near a temple in the village.

Jaydeepsinh, accompanied by his father and other relatives, rushed to the spot, where they identified the charred body as Jaimin's. Jaydeepsinh later lodged a complaint with Desar police, alleging that Jaimin had sustained injuries and bleeding on his head, suggesting he was killed before his body was set ablaze. Police have registered an offence and launched an investigation into the murder.
