Peshawar - The Pahalgam attack is widely believed to have been orchestrated by the RSS-backed Hindutva Modi regime in an attempt to divert global attention from ongoing human rights abuses and state-sponsored terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The baseless accusations leveled by India against Pakistan following the Pahalgam incident have drawn widespread criticism from security analysts, civil society representatives, and diplomatic experts. They have termed the incident a “false flag operation” designed by the fascist Modi regime to cover internal security failures, suppress separatist movements, and deflect international focus from the systemic atrocities in IIOJK—especially following the revocation of its special status on August 5, 2019.

Professor Dr Ejaz Khan, former Chairman of the International Relations Department at the University of Peshawar, said that India’s accusations lack both investigation and legal grounding, calling the Modi government’s stance on Pahalgam “illogical and beyond comprehension.” MoU signed to promote Traditional Chinese Medicines He emphasized that no responsible state levels accusations against another without completing investigations and presenting irrefutable evidence. However, India and its media once again rushed to blame Pakistan without offering any credible proof or completing a formal inquiry—an act Dr Ejaz Khan strongly condemned.

He questioned the timing of these allegations, which coincided with the visit of U.S. Vice President JD Vance to India.

Challenging the Indian narrative, he raised critical security concerns, including the absence of evidence related to casualties or perpetrators. “If this was truly a terror attack, where are the bodies of the alleged terrorists? Where is the proof—weaponry, communication logs, or video footage?” he asked. He noted that only one suspicious image has been circulated in Indian media, showing a woman beside a man lying on the ground with no visible injuries or signs of destruction.

Massive enrolment, tree plantation drive held Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Vice Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, claimed the Pahalgam incident appeared more like a staged theatrical drama aimed at defaming Pakistan. He noted that social media accounts linked to India’s intelligence agency RAW began blaming Pakistan in real time, suggesting premeditation and a deep-rooted conspiracy. He asserted that RAW likely orchestrated the attack to divert global attention from the grave human rights violations in IIOJK, which he described as a “modern-day open prison.

” Referring to Pakistan’s 2021 dossier, he stated that the bodies of 37 Kashmiris were burned beyond recognition by Indian forces. He also condemned India’s use of snipers, cluster ammunition, and human shields—including women and children—during operations, as well as forcing civilians to dig minefields or tying youth to military jeeps. These, he said, represent clear war crimes and evidence of genocide under the Modi regime.

Kundi lauds Armed Forces for successful operations Brigadier (Retd) Mahmood Shah, former Secretary of Law and Order for the erstwhile FATA region, echoed similar concerns. He noted that Pahalgam, located nearly 400 kilometers from the Line of Control, is one of the most heavily militarized zones in IIOJK, patrolled by over 800,000 Indian troops. “In such a tight security grid—where there is practically one soldier for every five civilians—how could such a bold attack in broad daylight kill 26 tourists?” he questioned.

He also cited a recurring pattern of similar attacks allegedly orchestrated by RAW during politically sensitive periods or foreign dignitaries’ visits. Dr Professor Z A Hilali, former Chairman of the Political Science Department, added that India has long been involved in sponsoring terrorism both in neighboring countries and within its own borders to malign Pakistan. He pointed to the arrest of Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Yadav as proof of India’s direct involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan.

Police intensify operations to eliminate terrorist hideouts “These attacks always occur when India seeks to divert attention or build a narrative against Pakistan—be it the Samjhauta Express blast (2007), Mumbai attacks (2008), Pulwama incident (2019), or now the Pahalgam gun attack (2025),” he said. He recalled how Indian officials have at times contradicted their own narratives. A former CBI officer admitted that the 2008 Mumbai attacks were used to push anti-terror legislation, while the ex-Governor of IIOJK publicly claimed the Pulwama attack was both avoidable and mismanaged.

Dr Hilali also criticized India’s global campaign to malign Pakistan, while itself being involved in transnational operations targeting Sikh dissidents and the butchery of innocent Kashmiris. “In this digital age, such staged RAW-sponsored terrorism events to mask domestic failures and war crimes in IIOJK will not go unnoticed,” he warned. “The international community must demand real answers—not politically motivated rhetoric from India.

” The experts concluded by reminding India of Pakistan Air Force’s downing of two Indian aircraft and the capture of its pilot in 2019, warning against any future acts of aggression. They endorsed the federal government’s strong response, reaffirming that no compromise will be made on Pakistan’s sovereignty and security. They also welcomed Pakistan’s offer for an international investigation into the Pahalgam incident and urged the Indian government to positively respond and allow Pakistani investigators to conduct a credible and transparent probe.
