People flock to Easter sale with a difference

An online homeware business has raised thousands in an Easter sale to help support a Bolton-based animal shelter.

An online homeware business has raised thousands in an Easter sale to help a Bolton-based animal shelter. Online Home Shop hosted a sale for families, employees and influencer partners at its headquarters in Worsley on Thursday, April 10. Over 250 people came to the sale where they were able to buy products like wreaths and hoodie blankets.

Customers could also enjoy ice cream and have a bounce on the bouncy castle. £2,243.75 was raised for Bolton Destitute Animal Shelter, which rescues stray cats and dogs as well as helping to rehome 450 animals every year.

uk All remaining product from the sale was donated to Stepping Stone Projects, a charity which supports people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes. Moshe Cohen, Chief Executive of Online Home Shop, said: “Giving back to our local communities is something that we are extremely passionate about, as well as ensuring our products find a second home. “Sample sales are held quarterly, and with this one coinciding with the Easter half-term, it felt like the perfect opportunity to invite friends and family of the brand to join us.

This ensures we’re supporting causes that are close to their hearts, and that our efforts are making a meaningful difference.

“It was a fantastic day all around, full of fun and community spirit.”.
