Portrush Adelphi to open its doors after major transformation later this month

A popular hotel on Northern Ireland's famous north coast is preparing to reopen later this month. Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Portrush Adelphi, a 34-room hotel in the heart of the iconic seaside town after a major transformation. Opening on April 21, it is located just steps from the coast on Main Street and has been thoughtfully restored following its acquisition in 2022, with major renovations to guest rooms, public areas, and dining spaces.

Blending Marine & Lawn’s signature timeless style with a deep appreciation for local culture, Portrush Adelphi offers a "fresh chapter for a beloved landmark". Designed by owner, AJ Capital Partners’ in-house team, the hotel draws inspiration from Co Antrim ’s rich heritage and dramatic natural beauty.

A spokesperson said: "The warm and modern dining room is adorned with oak leaf wallpaper and whitewashed wooden panelling.

"Oil paintings throughout the restaurant depict scenes of the local sea and coastline, while deep maroon velvet banquettes add a touch of elegance. The restaurant puts an emphasis on Italian dishes complemented by locally sourced ingredients. "An extensive list of Italian and complex world wines has been carefully curated to complement the menu.
