But Liberal candidate Mike Creed has done the opposite - giving the One Nation candidate, Matthew Jacobson, second spot on his "how to vote" card and putting Greens candidate Terry Morgan last.
When the asked both local campaigns to comment on their preference choices, this masthead received a statement from the Labor Party's campaign head office. "We are encouraging all Australians to put a 1 next to their Labor candidate to build Australia's future and stop Peter Dutton's cuts. "Irrespective of the Labor and Liberal divide, I am deeply disappointed that the Liberal candidate for Macquarie has decided to preference the One Nation Party second on his How To Vote card," the post stated.
