Eugenie founded the charity alongside a close friend in 2017 as it works ‘collaboratively develop solutions to fight modern-day slavery and human trafficking.’ Given his slew of scandals, Andrew does not have a good rapport with the royal family, especially brother King Charles and future king, Prince William.

However, Eugenie could make alleviate some pressure off of Andrew with her humanitarian efforts by association. The update on the fundraiser could have been a deliberate effort to do just that.
