Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University to start admission for 2025 session next week

Prayagraj: Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University will begin the admission process for the 2025-26 academic session from next week. The process includes filling more than 3 lakh seats in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate programmes across the university and approximately 700 affiliated colleges. This year, the university is introducing seven new employment-oriented diploma courses .

These include postgraduate diploma in yoga, counselling, criminology and criminal justice, NGO and project management and cybersecurity. The postgraduate diploma in yoga, criminology, and NGO management will be offered by the department of social work. The diploma in counselling will be offered by the department of psychology while the cybersecurity course will be under the department of computer science.



Vice Chancellor Prof Akhilesh Kumar Singh said the admissions to these new diploma programmes will be based on merit. He also added that professional courses such as BA LLB, BBA, BCA and BPharma will require candidates to appear for an entrance test. Online application process is expected to begin next week, with the exams likely in June.

Registration on the Samarth portal has been made mandatory for all applicants seeking admission to university or any affiliated colleges. TNN.
