There is a wide selection of beer available. (Image: Google Maps) A review from this month (April 2025) said: “Fantastic food in a great atmosphere with excellent service. “We visited this restaurant a year ago when we were last in the area, and it was superb then.

So, glad to see it’s just as great a year on. The local beer (and selection) is first class as well.” Numerous reviews approve the food.

“The kitchen accommodated a number of requests on the order as we have some picky eaters, and it all came out perfectly. “Wide selection of drinks. As others have said, a bit punchy on price and when the bar is busy it can spill to the tables where people are eating.

That said, Tap & Tan is on my list of places to return to when next in Tenby.” The pub has a rating of 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor.

We moved here 3 years ago and have sampled a lot of local cuisine - some better than others, but unfortunately mostly underwhelming. “The food we ate last night at Tap & Tan was the best we have tasted in a long, long time! “Absolutely delicious! We will be back very soon! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and chilled.

They have a lot of beers to try if that's your thing - we stuck to soft drinks but are definitely returning for the food! “Better than meals we have paid twice as much for in London or Manchester!”.
